Community Approval Process
View Infographic →All Muizenberg and Lakeside area building plans submitted to council that need LUM, Land Use Management approvals for any departures or similar, need to be tabled with your immediate and close neighbours (as directed by council), your Local Ratepayers, in this case the MLRA, and the Ward Councillor, Aimee Kuhl, who need to sign off on the plans and the “no-objections” forms prepared for you by council for the respective Neighbours, the Ratepayers and the Ward councillor. Once all required neighbours have signed no-objection, the MLRA can then sign off on their allocated form, followed by the Ward Councillor. Please email pdf files of your plans and the relevant forms to the MLRA, for their attention.
